Going to the city

So walking down the Pitt Street Mall today, and there were people standing around watching something. Now there are always performers in the mall, so that was nothing new. There was someone in a Sumo suit, plus these girls dancing with the sumo, directly outside Emporio Shoes, and the music was playing pretty loud. OK, so a little strange. Then I noticed there were girls dancing INSIDE THE WINDOW DISPLAYS all throughout the shop. So instead of displaying shoes.. there were skankily dressed girls dancing.

Now, I have no idea what the point of this was. I don’t know how that could lure anyone inside the shop. Now I can see why a guy might like to go have a look, but the shop sells women’s shoes. It is quite the mystery to me.

Oh, and for my funny bus story - the bus was following the bus lane that leads over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. But as we turned around the corner, I see this car reversing up the bus lane. The bus driver drives into the lane next to the bus lane to try avoid this car. The car braked, but the bus driver was still going forward and was half still in the bus lane, so there is just this lovely crunching noise as the left tail lights and bumper are crushed by the side of the bus. The car just sped off after that - I wonder if he thought he would get in trouble or something. The bus driver’s response to the whole thing - “it’s ok, the bus is fine, anyway it’s easy to get a new bus if there’s any problems”. He just didn’t care. LOL!
