Weekend wrapup

So a long weekend thanks to ANZAC Day. It was weird having the Friday off as opposed to having a Monday off.

Friday was spent sleeping in and then watching a lot of TV! Then late Friday night I discovered a mold (mould? I had to look this up, mould is the British spelling.) problem in the main bedroom.

The inbuilt cupboards along the wall of the ensuite bathroom, so I assume the shower’s pipes are in that wall somewhere. We use the cupboards for storage so rarely look at the floor. There is either cracks in the tiles/wall or a leaky pipe and consequently the cupboard floors, which is just carpet, has become all moldy. It is quite disgusting really.

Saturday was spent cleaning out the main bedroom, and tidying up in general, so the place was spotless for when people come over to look at this problem. When I rang the landlord/owner she didn’t seem to fussed and was like ‘I’ll call you Monday to organise a time next week’.

In the meantime, I’ve had to move into the spare room (no way am I sleeping in a room that has that much mold in it!). I don’t really like the bed in the spare room, it is too firm and with the back problems I have been having, it hasn’t helped it one bit.

Sunday I slept in till 11.30AM, then headed off to Chatswood for some shopping. Bought a cute pair of ballet flats, a couple of tops, a winter hat and some gloves.

Sunday evening was spent watching the SYTYCD finale (yay Jack!) and listening to BBBA stream the ‘live’ opening night of BB.

So another weekend over in a flash. I need another long weekend already I think!
